US army chiefs have predicted the imminence of World War Three and it will be ‘extremely lethal’.

The current climate of global instability and political upheaval – not to mention the end of Planet Earth as we know it thanks to climate change – is ‘almost guaranteed’ to result in war between two powerful countries.

With the threat of war looming ominously on the horizon, American army strategists are now preparing for ‘violence on the scale that the US Army has not seen since Korea’. Its military has predicted total cyber and nuclear warfare.

At the annual meeting of the Association of the US Army in Washington, Maj.Gen.William Hix put forward his terrifying predictions.

He also aired concerns over the growing military strength of China and the threat from Russia. Hix addressed Russia’s stockpile of nuclear weapons – the largest in the world, totalling 8,400. That’s almost 1,000 more than America. Britain’s Trident programme is in possession of just 120 operational thermonuclear warheads.

The concerns seem particularly ominous since news broke that Vladimir Putin has built underground bunkers in preparation for nuclear war.

Meanwhile American media claims the West hopes to launch an attack on Russia since the country’s intervention in Syria and the recent devastation caused by bombings in Aleppo, which some have compared to the Holocaust.

Hix said:

A conventional conflict in the near future will be extremely lethal and fast, and we will not own the stopwatch.

The speed of events are likely to strain our human abilities.

Hix claimed any number of factors – including climate change – could lead America into World War Three, which will be fought using artificial intelligence and smart weapons, Defence One reported.

Over the past decade, we have witnessed the spread of terror throughout our world.

I fear this announcement, although only a prediction, will fuel the flame of fear and I sincerely hope that Hix is wrong.
