Following the news Post Malone’s private plane had to make an emergency landing, a lot of people on Twitter have been conspiring how the situation was attempted murder.

Today, (Tuesday 21 August), the rapper was on a plane from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, heading for London, UK. While the plane was taking off, its tyres blew out, meaning the plane had to make an emergency landing.

However, a source revealed air traffic control at the site told the pilot to continue the flight to Massachusetts for a safer potential crash landing.

The plane circled the air for some time – leaving a number of fans worried for the rapper’s safety – but it finally landed at Stewart International Airport, New York.

The private jet reportedly had 16 people on board when it took off. I’m guessing it was Malone and his entourage – as well as the crew.

Just minutes after the plane landed, the rapper tweeted to his followers, to let them know he was safe and well, thanking them for their well-wishes.

Malone’s tweet read:

i landed guys. thank you for your prayers. can’t believe how many people wished death on me on this website. f*ck you. but not today. [sic]

Following the incident, many of Post Malone’s fans have taken to Twitter to suggest the problems with the plane might have been part of an attempted murder plot.

One suspecting fan wrote:

is it just me or did someone just try to kill post malone? [sic]

Another added their family was getting caught up in the conspiracies, writing:

My sister already thinks the Illuminati are trying to kill Post Malone.

While a third person said:

They’re trying to kill off Post Malone as we speak

Following Malone’s announcement how he’d landed, fans continued to share their theories as a response.

One person replied:

Illuminati trying to kill my boy!!! Not Todayyyyyy [sic]

A few of the musician’s fans have implied how, if the tyres blowing had in fact been attempted murder, then the culprits would never have succeeded anyway.

One person called the rapper a ‘God’, stating:

You can’t kill a God

PA

While another basically said the star was indestructible:

IMMORTAL KING OF SURVIVING [sic]

The rapper released his most recent album Beerbongs & Bentleys earlier this year, which contained his first number one as a solo artist, the single, Rockstar. The song won Song of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday (August 20).

Malone is set to appear at Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK over the bank holiday weekend, (August 25 & 26).

Hopefully he’ll make it there without any more aeroplane malfunctions!
