Four Of The World’s Worst Airports Are In The UK

Four British airports are among the worst 10 in the world, according to a new survey.

London Gatwick, Manchester and London Stansted are ranked in the bottom five while Edinburgh places at number six on the list.

AirHelp, a company that deals with passenger difficulties, conducted the survey which ranked the airports based on their quality of service, on-time performance and customer service efficiency.

While the majority of British airports were slammed, Heathrow was ranked as being the 20th best airport making it the best in the UK.

According to the rankings the top airport in the world is Signapore’s Changi, and Kuwait represents the opposite end of the spectrum ranked as the worst out of 76.

Munich, Hong Kong and Copenhagen were also among the 10 best.

AirHelp also ranked airlines with British Airways making it into the top 10 as the seventh best in the world.

Ryanair and Monarch, meanwhile, were among the bottom five. Shock horror.
