An 82-year-old grandmother has revealed how she uses dating apps like Tinder to meet younger men and hooks up with suitors up to three times a week.
The aptly-named Hattie Retroage, from New York, says she regularly sleeps with men three decades younger than her, and has apparently never been turned down by any of them.
Hattie, a mother of two, and grandmother of three, has been single for 35 years after getting divorced, and the self-confessed ‘cougar’ has been using dating apps to find partners.
Speaking to MailOnline, Hattie said:
The cougar never pursues younger men.
There are men that want older women and they are handsome, and buff, and all sorts of great things.
She added:
I have never met a man who doesn’t want to f*** me.
I tell them in advance that I have to meet them for chemistry. We go out for a drink, and if the chemistry is right, we go to my apartment, and if not then we just leave each other.
The glam gran had a career as dancer when she was younger, and now works as a life coach and writer. After training at an arts college in New York, she opened a dance school with her husband at the time.
In her varied career, Hattie then became a psychoanalyst in order to support her children as they grew up and went to college. However, this put a strain on her marriage, and she and her husband divorced in 1984, when they were in their 50s.
Hattie added:
He did not work harder to get them to go to college, and that is what broke up our marriage.
He became rageful and ugly to me, as I charged $100 and he charged $9 for dance classes. But that ultimately freed me.
Armed with her knowledge of dance and psychoanalysis, Hattie began to give people ‘movement therapy’ as part of their treatment.
She said:
I was touching people, able to find blocks in people’s bodies and tap or pound them out for release.
She began dating again, but found that older men weren’t able to perform as she wanted them to, so started turning to younger men.
As Hattie bluntly put it:
Older men are not adept at giving women orgasms.
So, she put an advert in the paper saying she was looking for younger men, preferably under the age of 35. And she was ‘bombarded’ with responses. Dating apps, then, were the natural progression for her.
Hattie now insists any woman wanting to keep her sex life going at any age of life needs to keep ‘loving and honouring’ her body.
Or, as she puts it:
The sex tip I’m giving people is masturbate for God’s sake. You must keep the engine going whether you feel like it or not.
Good to know. Keep doing you, Hattie!
