What’s better than chicken nuggets? Using them to propose to the love of your life!
It’s the moment a lot of people dream about from the minute they understand the concept of marriage. Where am I gonna propose? How am I gonna do it? Will there be music?
Me personally? I see myself getting on one knee on top of the pyramids in Egypt, in the scorching sun, cig in one hand, ring in the other.
Kristian Helton opted against my goals, choosing instead to pop the question to Karsyn Long with a McDonald’s chicken nugget box.
He told NBC:
Her love for chicken nuggets, I’m sure, is more than she loves me.
She has devoted her life to chicken nuggets, so that had to be part of the engagement.
Long added:
I do like chicken nuggets a lot and I think since he knew that he thought it would be the best way to propose to me.
Helton placed the ring inside a chicken nugget, raising the game just that little but more.
Inside was a note which read:
Will you McMarry me?
Long added:
I didn’t hesitate to say yes because he is obviously the one I want to spend my life with.
While Helton joked:
You have a chicken nugget loving girlfriend, that’s how you should propose to her.
God only knows what Helton has in store for the wedding itself.
Maybe a McDonald’s drive-thru one? With unlimited nugs? A nug cake? A three course meal of non-stop nugs? It’d definitely make the kid-attendees happy.
Hey look, I wish these guys all the best. Some people might sneer at a man trivialising the act of engagement by using 6 McNuggets but not me. He’s zigging, while we’re all zagging.
