It’s not really where you’d expect to see Jesus’ face, but I suppose if you want followers, in the literal sense, it’s not a bad place to appear.
Of course, if Jesus was to come back, I don’t know what his social media outlet of choice would be, but he’d surely get a boat load of online followers pretty quickly. On the other hand, maybe he’s already online somewhere, and we just haven’t realised it yet.
Then again, being the son of God, maybe he’d shun technology and rely on good old word of mouth, walking on water and turning water to wine to get his message across.
The guy filming this, however, believes a small sign from Jesus was on the back of a lorry on the freeway in Montreal, Canada.
See for yourselves:
Uploading the video online, the driver wrote:
You can see the long hair, beard and crown of thorns.
And, from far away, they have a point. There is arguably a face there with long hair, a good beard and a crown of thorns. However, it must be said that, the closer you get, the worse it looks.
In the immortal words of Cher from the timeless, classic piece of cinema Clueless, it’s ‘a full-on Monet […] It’s like a painting, see? From far away, it’s OK, but up close, it’s a big old mess.’
Indeed, the driver concedes:
The closer I got the more you can see that it was simply a set of tubes and hoses arranged in a way that coincidentally showed a face that resembled Jesus.
But that’s all that life is, isn’t it? A series of coincidences strung together to resemble something bigger and, perhaps, out of our control?
Sorry, went a bit deep there.
Let’s pull it back and have a look at another face somewhere a face shouldn’t be.
This time, it’s US President Donald Trump’s face in a cyst inside the ear of a Beagle dog called Chief.
According to Jade, the puzzled pet owner:
This photo had to be taken whilst Chief was asleep as he does not like his inner ears to be touched and I swear I looked/zoomed in and out at this photo over 20 times and NEVER seen Donald Trump! HA
It was my eagle eyed friend who pointed it out, I thought I would shared this with my facebook friends but NEVER thought it would be that popular however overnight our little Chief became an internet sensation trending all over social media!
Jade started a JustGiving page to raise money so Chief could – understandably – have the cyst removed.
Check it out:
Thankfully, Jade raised enough money to get rid of the Commander-in-Chief in Chief, and the dog is now making a good recovery.
From cleverly designed layers of ham to elderly women working in fields or on buses, Trump does, unfortunately, look like a lot of things.
I think I know who I’d rather see on the back of a lorry though.
