As I’m sure you’re all aware by now, there was a massive police standoff at Chris Brown’s house last night.
The whole incident was livestreamed, and began after the rapper was accused of pointing a gun at model Baylee Curran’s head in a row over jewellery.
Baylee has now been thrown into the spotlight, and yesterday she gave a phone interview to TMZ where she explained what happened before the 11-hour police siege.
The beauty queen says she was admiring a friend of the musician’s diamond cross necklace when she was told to step away, with Brown later pulling a gun on her, The Mirror reports.
LAPD Lieutenant Chris Ramirez said Brown is ‘being transported to robbery homicide, where he will be arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.’
Baylee shared a clip on her Instagram in response to claims she’d made the whole thing up for publicity, saying: “Do you all honestly think I wanted this, that I caused this? If somebody put a gun to your head what would you do? Call the police?”
It’s now been revealed that Baylee was a former Miss California Regional winner, a pageant where women from 16 cities in the state go head-to-head for the crown – although she was later stripped of her title.
TMZ reported that she only kept the crown for two months, after she became embroiled in a scandal when someone sent the director of the competition nude photos.
Baylee denied the nudes were of her, however, and was given another chance, although she was later stripped of the title for ‘repeatedly’ not showing up to events.
She has also reportedly partied with celebrities in the past, including Chris Brown.
She told TMZ: “The first couple times I hung out with him it was with Justin Bieber and it was very nice, light, we played hide and go seek … went swimming … it was all good.”
And it turns out Baylee is also an aspiring actress. Her IMDB biography states:

Baylee has claimed she arrived at Chris Brown’s £3million mansion with a friend to audition for an appearance in a music video.
They were in the hot tub before heading to the house, where the incident with the necklace occurred. Baylee claims Brown pulled the gun out after they got into a row, and she fled the house with no shoes.
