Hugh Jackman Trolls Ryan Reynolds With His Dog’s Poo In Hilarious Tweet

In another case of ‘it’s fine for celebrities, but it’s not okay for the likes of you and me to do it’, Hugh Jackman has trolled Ryan Reynolds with dog poo.

Ah celebrities, they’re just normal people at the end of the day, and Jackman’s proved he’s a little bit more like us with some scatalogical humour to write home about.

No, he hasn’t gone chasing Ryan Reynolds down Sunset Strip with a piece of dog poo on the end of a stick – who here hasn’t ever had the smelly kid at school chase after you with a piece of dog poo on the end of a stick – nope, Hugh’s a classy guy, he’s gone for a more psychological tilt.

Tagging Canada’s best export since Canadian Club whiskey, and captioned simply ‘HIGH ROAD.’, Hugh’s tweet shows him out walking his French bulldog Dali in New York.

But what’s this? Dali needs to crack a deuce. Oh look, Dali’s done a dump on a photo of Ryan Reynolds. I’m actually being paid to write these words btw. You’re reading them. I share your shame.

Now, this isn’t an out of the blue, let’s just get our dogs to sh*t on pictures of famous people in the street news story. Oh no. Jackman and Reynolds have a love/hate bromance which has been going on forever – and people can’t seem to get enough of it.

Reynolds posted to Twitter on Friday (November 2), with a smear campaign against his Hollywood counterpart, whose political movie The Front Runner is being shown at select film festivals.

Reynolds points out some hard hitting ‘truths’ about Jackman in the tweet. ‘Hugh Jackman isn’t his real name. It’s Hugh Michael Jackman’, ‘he speaks with a charming accent but he’s actually from Milwaukee’, and suggests in award voting season, there’s someone from across the border more suitable. Himself.

It was Ryan’s birthday just the other week, and Jackman took the opportunity to send his regards in tweet form to the Deadpool star.

Tweeting a picture of the pair embracing in a loving hug, you’d be mistaken if you thought this was just a sweet, heartfelt birthday wish to his friend.

He captioned the image:

Because I’m told that I AM THE NICEST GUY and you’re NOT. @VancityReynolds … I will let you hug me. Just this once. On your birthday. [sic]

This comes off the back of Hugh tweeting earlier this year and being interrupted by Reynolds in full Deadpool get up.

This has been going on for time. In May, Jackman took to Good Morning America to tell Reynolds to go a bit easy.

Specifically, Jackman said:

Ryan, I love you man. I love Deadpool. I can’t wait to see the movie, you’re one of my best friends. Blake, the fam, the whole thing.

But back it up a little. Play a little hard to get. It’s too much — It’s not sexy.

However, Jackman has come under fire from fans this week after they picked up on his 15-year-old friendship with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, after they attended his birthday party.

Speaking to Variety, Jackman said: ‘I’ve known those guys for 15 years, and we don’t talk politics at birthday parties.’
