Instagram just got a brand new ‘most liked picture of all time’, overtaking the previous holder by almost four million.

Over the past couple of years, we’ve seen plenty of leap-frogging in the Instagram world, with some posts hitting more than 11 million likes.

Well, today we have a new one on top spot and it’s way ahead of the 11 million mark… try 15 million.

Let’s count down, shall we?

3rd Place: Beyonce’s pregnancy announcement

The pop superstar announced in a colourful Instagram post she and husband Jay-Z were expecting not one baby, but two.

She captioned the photo:

We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters.

To this day, the photo has had more than 11.2 million ‘likes’ and has more than half a million comments.

2nd Place: Cristiano Ronaldo’s fourth child

His post, again, another baby announcment, received 11.3 million ‘likes’, only just trumping Beyonce.

Announcing his fourth child, Ronaldo wrote:

A Alana Martina acaba de nascer! Tanto a Geo como a Alana estão muito bem! Estamos todos muito felizes!

Which translates to: ‘Alana Martina has just been born! Both Geo and Alana are doing great! We are all very happy!’

And the top spot? Yeah, you might see a theme running here…

1st Place: Kylie Jenner’s baby Stormi

Of course. And it took just her 19 hours to get there.

She posted a photo of her newborn baby holding her finger, and in the caption she announced her daughter’s name, Stormi Webster.

At the time of writing, Kylie’s post had received more than 15 million likes, and almost 700,000 comments.

On Sunday, Kylie posted a full statement on her pregnancy to her Instagram page, as well as linking to an 11-minute YouTube video showing her nine-month journey – something she’d kept private until the birth of her daughter.

The statement read:

I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.

Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life-changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn’t wait to share this blessing. I’ve never felt love and happiness like this I could burst! Thank you for understanding.

Congratulations, I guess.
