Most of us will never own $5 million. Ever. Kim Kardashian on the other hand, has proved she can make $5 million in just five minutes.
Kim Kardashian’s wealth has accumulated through Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood mobile game, and endorsements – among other things.
The real money maker in her life however, is her cosmetic range.
The reality TV star launched a new perfume collection called ‘Kimoji’ recently, and people were so desperate to smell like her, the star made $1 million a minute.
It’s quite a depressing thought really. I could put some nice smelling water in bottles shaped like fruit, but I’m never going to make $1 million a minute. Hold on to your life Kim.
The star promoted her perfumes on Instagram, balancing the peach-shaped bottles on her infamous bottom.
The caption reads:
Kimoji Fragrances available now on Kkwfragrance.com @kkwfragrance
It’s probably not a coincidence how the peach shaped bottles are being balanced on the part of her body which the peach emoji is so often used to represent.
It’s definitely some clever advertising by Kim K and her people.
The fragrances cost $45 each on the website, and come in ‘Peach’, ‘Cherry’ and ‘Vibes’ scents. Don’t ask me what ‘Vibes’ smell like.
I’m quite curious to find out the scent for myself, but I’m too angry at the fact she made $5 million within the first five minutes of the perfumes going on sale to actually want to purchase a bottle and add to her wealth.
After the launch of the Kimoji range, the star asked her Twitter fans to share which of the perfumes they’d been ordering.
She wrote:
I want to know which Kimoji Fragrances you guys ordered!! Peach, Cherry or Vibes? Tweet me

Then came a revelation which made the $5 million in five minutes make so much more sense.
One fan tweeted a picture of their order:
I just knew that I had to get me some of those good Vibes? pic.twitter.com/eMompMsTrg

$24 for shipping?! These must be some truly dedicated fans, because most people I know would entirely abandon an order that doesn’t have free shipping.
While that shipping cost is for sending the product to the UK, it no doubt helped Kim reach her millions.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is estimated to be worth $350 million, with her beauty line being one of her main sources of income.
Forbes placed Kim at number 54 on the list of America’s self-made women, while her half-sister, Kylie Jenner, came in at number 27, with an estimated worth of $900 million.
According to Forbes, KKW Beauty has generated $100 million in sales since June 2017, with customers loving the contour kits and perfumes on offer. Though, thanks to Kimoji, the number now surely must be at least $105 million.
The 37-year-old is launching a new range of makeup next week, which will no doubt send her wealth up to an even more unattainable number.
Kim shared a picture of her made-up face with the caption:
So excited for the Classic Collection!! The 10-Pan Eyeshadow Palette, 4 New Lipsticks & 4 Lip Liners launch at the #KKWBEAUTY Pop-Up on 07.25 and online on 07.27 at 12PM PST on KKWBEAUTY.COM
Stay tuned. She might exceed her $1 million a minute record within a matter of days. Urgh!
