Kitten Destroys Owner’s Earphones, Returns With Snake As Replacement

Look, let’s face it: animals are cute, especially when they’re babies. Kittens, puppies, rabbits, chicks – you name it, they’re cute.

No matter what they do in those first few fateful months of having them in your home, you just know they’re going to get away with anything because of how bloody cute they are.

Whether they’ve chewed your brand new carpet or done their business on your comfiest sofa, all will be forgiven when they look at you with those soulful eyes. You know it, they know it, we all know it.

One pet owner found out just how mischievous kittens can really be when his bit through his headphones, tearing them in half. The owner, Haryanto, said the kitten was playing with the headphones on his bed when he managed to tear them in two.

Obviously, Haryanto was a tad pissed off at the fact he could no longer listen to music, so he scolded the kitten who quickly ran away – not returning to the house for another hour or so.

When the animal did return though, he brought a present for his owner in an attempt to reconcile things. A new pair of headphones, perhaps? I mean, that’d be impressive but no. Instead, the kitten brought back a tiny snake as a replacement for the headphones.

Uncanny, right?

I mean, just look at how adorable he is! How is it even possible to stay angry at him when he’s that cute?! It isn’t, try and tell me otherwise (you’d be wrong, but okay).

I know exactly how Haryanto feels; once, when my dog was only a few months old, he thought it would be a good idea to take one of my brand new shoes and make it his new toy.

Unfortunately for me, I didn’t realise until he’d been playing with it for a good five minutes and by that point, it was pretty much unrecognisable as a shoe. Sob.

Obviously, I shouted at him but as soon as those puppy dog eyes came out and he tried to cuddle me (in his own way), I’d pretty much forgotten why I was mad in the first place.

Hence why he’s still a menace today, because he’s learnt he can get away with almost anything and we’ll still be suckers. Ah well.

Haryanto, I feel for you but hey, at least you got a new friend out of it!
