A time traveller who has claimed he is stuck in our time period because of a broken time machine has reportedly passed a lie detector test.

The man, known as James Oliver, says he was on a mission from the year 6491, but is stuck in 2018 due to his damaged craft.

Speaking with ApexTV, Oliver undertook a lie detector test to ‘verify’ his claims of time travel.

Obviously, Oliver’s face is blurred to protect his identity, along with the interviewer’s face being covered.

When asked whether he is from the year 6491, Oliver replies:

Yes, in a word yes, I will say that because – like I explained in the last video – your years are different to mine.

Where I’m from, the years are longer. My planet is further away from the Sun than yours is, so it takes longer to get around.

But we have gifted mathematicians who work to calculate our years from those from other civilisations.

Despite the alleged time difference between Oliver’s world and our own, he still appears human and seems to be able to speak perfect English.

While the video attempts to prove Oliver’s claims as true, the only evidence the viewers are provided is a simple graphic of the word ‘TRUE’ after he makes a statement.

He claims climate change is going to get much worse, and advises that we change some of the systems we have in place to mitigate this.

He claims:

We are constantly finding new planets and galaxies every day. Most of it is just nothing. Sometimes you hit the jackpot and find intelligent life on it.

You find new planets, new eco systems. There are a lot of planets more intelligent than humans.

He claims humans have had battles with aliens from other planets, but those battles were put to rest by ‘the federation’ of leaders very quickly.

When asked whether he has met an alien, he says:

Personally? Several times.

The definition of alien is something out of this world, so technically, I am meeting one right now.

I have, on occasion. But the only time I meet them is when I am at home.

It’s the same sort of thing. They travel to where I live and I do know them.

I have personal relationships with a few of them, I have friends I’d consider aliens. They are a nice lot, they are. Don’t be quick to judge.

I have some who are quite good friends. My closest friend is from another galaxy.

However, he refuses to acknowledge who our future world leaders will be, as there are restrictions on what he can tell us.

He says he is currently not sure just when he will be rescued and be able to go back to his time, so he’s kind of stuck here in little old 2018.

Poor James.
