A Colombian man cut off his ears and nose to look like a living skull, but he now wants to turn himself into a full living skeleton with his genitals next in line to be removed.
22-year-old Erick Hincapie Ramirez, who lives in Cartago in the northern portion of the Valle del Cauca Department, Colombia, began transforming his body after his mother died 10 years ago, and has now come to be known as ‘Kalaca Skull’.
The changes to his body began with a tribute to his mother, as he had her portrait tattooed on his back, but after learning of her death, he decided he wanted to resemble a living skull.

According to the Mirror, Erick was reportedly always fascinated by skulls as a child, but his mother wouldn’t allow him to undergo any body transformations while she was alive.
Although I’m not sure how qualified they were in the removal of extremities, Erick had a tattoo artist friend remove the tip of his nose and ears so he would better resemble a skull.
The 22-year-old has revealed he has had suicidal tendencies, and feels at home when in cemeteries, explaining:
I would like to be buried two metres underground, I feel like being beside dead people.
It is like being in peace, in harmony, that there is not so much pain.
After having parts of his nose and ears removed, the Colombian has said he laughs when people react with fear to his appearance.
He claims the pain of having his extremities removed was like medicine to him, and his ambition to change has now turned into the desire to become a full living skeleton.

Speaking to a reporter from Los Informantes, Erick said his fantasy is to remove his genitals so he can become ‘totally flat’ like a skeleton.
I can’t imagine that would be a pleasant procedure!
Speaking of the meaning behind his transformation, he said:
We all are the same. No matter if you are a boy, a girl, a man or an elderly man, we are always the same: a skeleton.
Despite his unusual appearance, Erick has insisted he is just a ‘normal’ person who happens to look ‘different’, adding:
I just feel good the way I am.
It might be a controversial look, but you just keep doing you, Erick.
