Meghan Markle Accidentally Flashes Bra And Causes Huge Backlash

Meghan Markle celebrated her 37th birthday yesterday (August 4). Along with her husband, Prince Harry, the pair attended the wedding of his best friend, Charlie van Straubenzee. 

As is often the case with Meghan – and royals in general – she looked elegant in a Club Monaco navy silk dress, which was matched with Aquazzura shoes, and a Philip Treacy hat.

However, it seems some people can’t handle the fact Meghan’s dress supposedly showed a little bit too much for them to bare.

The phrase, ‘here we go again’ springs to mind…

So, yesterday afternoon, as the happy couple prepared to celebrate the double occasion, it may have been marred by the fact some people couldn’t handle the fact one of her buttons was undone.

That, and the fact her half-sister decided to have ANOTHER go at her on social media.

Back to the issue of the dress though. So, because one of her buttons was undone, you could see a tiny glimpse of what she was wearing underneath – and a lot of people on Twitter were unkind to say the least.

One narrow-minded individual tweeted:

Meghan stepped out in dark-colour like someone attending a funeral, and did she deliberately flaunt her bra for the camera?. The bride,27, and groom, 30, look young and cute, but Meghan stole the show with her deliberate wardrobe malfunction.

While another echoing those views wrote:

Meghan is all superficial and fame addict, drawing attention to herself wearing expensive signature brands in an event supported by BRF, wihtout fail, she wants the camera to capture her, shameless drama queen! A Markle mark @KensingtonRoyal

Basically, Meghan’s outfit had come undone at the top – showing just a hint of her bra was apparently a massive wardrobe malfunction.

If I’m being honest, it might not have even been her bra – it could have been a negligee she was wearing underneath – or even a silk vest top?

If it wasn’t for the fact other photos show her with the dress fully done up, it could have been possible it was styled like that?

It’s 2018 – why are we having to defend women for such trivial and insignificant matters, like showing a glimpse of a bra!

Who cares whether women wear bras, whether they don’t – it’s honestly no big deal and, women are entitled to do what they want with their bodies and clothing. Any adult is!

Unfortunately, it’s not the first time Meghan’s body has come under scrutiny:

Luckily, common sense seems to have prevailed and supporters of Meghan were out in full force – mainly to lament the press coverage of this supposed ‘malfunction’.

One person on Twitter wrote:

we live in a world where the discovery that Meghan Markle wears lace bras, apparently deserves to be the breaking news. wtf. [sic]

While another stated:

Meghan Markle accidentally flashed a corner of her bra at a friends wedding; have a bit of human decency and don’t zoom in because women deserve privacy too.

You wouldn’t do it to a man so what makes a women different

If I was able to sit down with Meghan, I’d say, ‘stick two fingers up to the press’ – but she’s got far more etiquette than that!

Probably the reason I’m not a duchess or a princess…yet.
