I don’t know if you’ve heard, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting married next month, and it’s set to be one of the biggest events in the royal calendar.
The exclusive guest list, romantic location, and expensive attire will make the ceremony one to behold for those who get a much sought after invite.
Many heads of state have been passed over for invites, and even our country’s very own Theresa May has been missed off the list.
Instead, Harry and Meghan have elected to invite members of the public who’ve been recognised for work in their communities, alongside some very special celeb friends of the couple, of course.
One such invitee is actually a Meghan Markle lookalike Sarah Mhlanga, who’s attending as a plus-one with her mother, Debra Green.
The 35-year-old lookalike and her mother are among 1,200 guests who’ve been invited by Harry and Meghan to Windsor Castle, to witness the nuptials on May 19.
Sarah, from Warrington, told Mirror Online:
I was thrilled when mum was invited and asked me to be her plus one. Meghan has changed my life and so it is fitting that I will get to see her on her wedding day, I’m so excited.
Hopefully I won’t get mistaken for the real Meghan.
Sarah isn’t just a lookalike, however, she’s also an actress and charity worker. She’s found most of her working time is spent as Markle’s lookalike since she and Harry got engaged last year.
She now reportedly earns thousands through events and charity campaigns. Her mother is also charitable, and runs the Christian charity ‘Reclaim Our Communities.
Sarah said:
When the letter for mum to attend the wedding arrived we couldn’t believe it. It’s such an honour. She works so hard for the charity.
Sarah’s plan for the day is to watch the wedding at Windsor and then dash off to an event with a Prince Harry lookalike in Surrey.
After the wedding, Meghan is going to become a full-time royal, meaning she’ll be busy with engagements, public meetings, and, yes, more charity work.
She certainly won’t have much time for acting anymore, and has subsequently left the show Suits, which brought her to the attention of so many viewers.
However, the legal drama is going to continue without her and the show has already found her replacement.
A little teaser trailer was aired after the final episode which shows Katherine Heigl donning a sharp suit and going to battle against Harvey Specter in and out of the courtroom.
The romcom legend and Grey’s Anatomy alumni will be playing Samantha Wheeler (don’t call her Sam whatever you do), who looks like she’s going to be a right piece of work.
Speaking of her joining the cast, Heigl said:
Joining Suits was the perfect organic way to not only collaborate with an EP I admire deeply, but to also become parts of a show and cast that I am an immense fan of.
I have watched Suits from the very beginning and feel incredibly lucky to be the newest member of the Pearson Specter Litt family.
It’s a shame they couldn’t just cast Sarah to play Rachel in the show and see if anybody noticed.
