Canadian crooner Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato have welcomed their third child and first daughter into the world.

Sharing the news via Instagram, Luisana revealed a black and white photo of a newborn baby’s hand, with the words ‘baby girl’ written on a hospital band around her wrist.

Captioning the photo, the Argentinian actor wrote (in Spanish):

How to explain that our heart explodes with love? That there’s not enough hours in a day to think about it. I thank God for making us this gift of life and happiness! Because looking in her eyes is looking at heaven itself!

We love you to infinity and beyond. We waited for you not only to grow as a family … you gave us light, hope, you are and will be our souls’ life.

The new arrival to the Bublé brood joins older brothers Elias, 2, and Noah, 5.

Bublé revealed that he and his wife were expecting a girl on Today FM just a few weeks ago.

He said:

I’ve got my first little girl coming in three weeks, and I’ve actually never said that before in public. I’ve got a daughter coming.

He first revealed he and Luisana were expecting when he was hosting the Juno Awards in Vancouver, Canada, back in March this year, according to IOL.

He jokingly told the audience:

Oops, you did it again – my wife and I are pregnant with our number three. I love you so much, mi amor.

In November 2016 Michael and Luisana’s eldest son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer. But in April 2017, Michael’s brother-in-law stated Noah was ‘doing well’.

Following a tough five-month treatment for her son, Luisana spoke about the horrendous ordeal the family had to go through.

As reported by E! she said:

Thank God, my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes. Now I value life much more, the now and the today.

I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love. And I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.

It’s difficult for me to speak about this, it’s very recent and I’m still a bit sensitive about the subject. But the love is daily, when people stop me in the street.

It’s wonderful to know that you’re accompanied in life and that people love you.

The mother of three explained how Noah’s recovery is a ‘long process’. He will be required to have check ups, but they are ‘very happy’ with his progress right now.

She added:

We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow.

I became strong so my son would get better. I transmitted that to all my friends and family. As a family we were always very united and we fought this together.

Congratulations to Michael, Luisana and their growing family!
