Piers Morgan has taken another shot at Daniel Craig after he mocked him for carrying his baby in a papoose.
The Good Morning Britain host posted a picture of the James Bond actor last week, where Craig was holding his child close to his chest in the baby carrier.
Morgan wrote:
Oh 007.. not you as well?!!! #papoose #emasculatedBond

His comments were met with outrage by many people who criticised the presenter’s view of masculinity.
One person responded:
There is nothing more masculine than a Father taking an active role in nurturing and looking after his child.
About time more in the media celebrated this, I mean aren’t you right-wing oddballs always bleating on about lack of family values?
Captain America himself, Chris Evans, even got involved in the conversation, replying:
You really have to be so uncertain of your own masculinity to concern yourself with how another man carries his child.
Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside.

Morgan tried to hold his own even after a wave of men on Twitter shared pictures of themselves using papooses.
The presenter fought back and tried to insist his opinion was the right opinion, writing:
007 wouldn’t be seen dead in a bloody papoose.
I just hate papooses. I know the shrieking Twitter mob is trying to bully me into liking them – but they will fail in their mission.

😆😆😆No mate, 007 wouldn't be seen dead in a bloody papoose.
Unlike male members of the Guardian newsroom, where I believe it's compulsory even if you don't have a baby? https://t.co/oS6hD3cDrL— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) October 16, 2018
The presenter even tried to turn to Donald Trump for support, as if that would help his cause.
Tweeting the POTUS, he wrote:
Do you have a view about papooses, Mr President @realDonaldTrump?
Everyone else seems to be getting very worked up about them.
I don’t really have you down as a papoose kinda guy, but then you’re full of surprises.

Trump never replied. He might spend a lot of time on Twitter, but it seems he still doesn’t have time to support Morgan’s opinions.
Thankfully, one person managed to take Morgan down a peg or two after the comments. Comedian Harry Hill appeared on Good Morning Britain and surprised Morgan by throwing a shaving foam pie in his face.
As he threw the pie, he yelled:
This pie is for all those men who wear papooses!
Despite the backlash and pie-throwing, Morgan continued to take shots at Craig, sharing another tweet today (October 22). Again he used a picture of the actor holding his baby, but this time there was no papoose.
Morgan wrote:
BREAKING: James Bond ditches papoose.

The tweet again received a wave of criticism from papoose-supporters, with many trying to make it clear to Morgan how Craig isn’t actually James Bond, so he needs to stop pretending he is.
One person angrily responded:
BREAKING: Piers Morgan still doesn’t understand that James Bond is a fictional character. He also thinks actor Daniel Craig gives a sh*t about his critiques on carrying his own baby. [sic]
Another added:
Pretty sure Daniel still has the carrier but doesn’t feel the need to use it for every trip

I think Morgan just needs to stay out of other people’s lives, for everyone’s sake.
