
Police have revealed the circumstances surrounding the death of Love Island’s Sophie Gradon.
It was Sophie’s boyfriend Aaron Armstrong who confirmed the sad news on his Facebook page on Thursday (June 21).
Taking to social media, Armstrong said he’d ‘never forget’ Sophie’s smile.

Sophie, from Newcastle, was crowned Miss Great Britain in 2009, and was also a former Miss Newcastle.
She made history on Love Island when she paired up with Katie Salmon, forming the show’s first same-sex couple.
Tragically, Sophie, who was just 32, was found dead at home at 8.27pm yesterday (June 20).
Northumbria Police released the following statement regarding the circumstances surrounding Sophie’s death:
At about 8.27pm yesterday (June 20) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found deceased.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A report will now be prepared for the coroner.
Tributes are being posted online by Sophie’s friends, and fellow reality television personalities.
Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan revealed Sophie had been helping her out with social media trolls.

Olivia Buckland, who appeared on the same series of Love Island as Sophie described her as a ‘creative, intelligent soul’.

The day before, Sophie had posted a video of Aaron dancing with a dog, describing him as the ‘love of her life’.
