Post Malone Crocs Sold Out In Less Than Ten Minutes

By :

In case you needed any evidence to prove how we’re influenced by celebrities, Post Malone collaborated with Crocs and his shoes sold out in less than 10 minutes.

I don’t think any other Croc design has ever fully sold out, even the ones that have been on sale since the dawn of time.

Whether it’s the fur-lined slipper Crocs, the questionable high heeled creation, or just the good old classic Croc, people just can’t seem to get on board with the rubber shoes.

It seems like they would make good footwear if you wanted to paddle in a river, but on the whole I’m just not sure what their ideal use is.

However, the footwear company managed to find a demographic which worked for them, and the flexible, hole-filled shoes flew off the shelves in no time.

That demographic was Post Malone fans.

Malone joined up with Crocs as part of the company’s ‘come as you are‘ campaign, which works well because Posty can easily get away with wearing whatever he wants to events – even Crocs.

Incredibly, according to NME the collaboration came about after Post tweeted about his Crocs, writing:

U can tell a lot about a man by the Jibbitz in his Crocs.

For anyone who isn’t clued up on Crocs-lingo, ‘Jibbitz’ are the little accessories you can get to put in the holes of your Crocs and really make them unique.

The collab was known as Post Malone x Crocs Dimitri Clog and featured the iconic Classic Clog silhouette as well as six custom-designed Jibbitz charms, including the artist’s trademarked Stay Away tattoo and Posty Co. logo.

The shoes were designed with a baby devil face motif pattern throughout, as well as a Posty Co. motif on the heels.

At $59.99 (£46) per pair the Crocs didn’t come cheap, but that didn’t matter to the customers who cleared out the Post Malone x Crocs Dimitri Clog stocks within just ten minutes of them going on sale on Thursday (November 1).

Post shared a picture in his custom Crocs, writing:

my first collab with @crocs is SOLD OUT already!

Don’t worry if you didn’t get a chance to grab a pair though, because the singer indicated there would be more releases coming in the future as he added ‘go to link in my bio to get updates on future releases’.

Crocs also shared the picture to their Instagram where they revealed there would be ‘more Posty Crocs coming next month’.

Those who were fast enough to get their hands on some of the special Crocs seem overjoyed with their purchase, so there’s no doubt any future Post-related shoes will sell out just as fast!

Sharing a picture of their colourful new shoes on Twitter, one person explained how the Crocs combined everything they love in life, writing:

I love Post Malone, I love wearing crocs, and I love wasting my money. A perfect purchase in my eyes.

Another Post fan added:

My two favourite things have become one

Props to Posty for living his best life in whatever footwear he chooses – and for sharing it with the world!
