You know those days/weeks/years when you’ve got really bad skin and you just think to yourself, ‘God, I wish it would just magically improve’?
In this situation, I’d do pretty much anything (short of selling my soul) to cleanse my skin – whether it’s drinking five litres of water a day or steaming my face over a bowl of boiling water with a towel over my head.
What I probably wouldn’t do is get a big bowl of semen and lather it all over my face, because… well… why would I?
You probably think I’m weird for even bringing that up but trust me, I do have a point. The point being that semen face masks apparently help to reduce wrinkles, smooth skin, and prevent spots – according to one beauty expert.
Chelsee Lewis, who has many celebrity clients and over 22 years of experience in the beauty industry, swears by using your partner’s sperm as a face mask to help keep your skin looking healthy. Yikes.
Speaking to Femail, Chelsee said:
[Sex is] one of the best ways to boost oxygen and improve circulation to the skin, which will give you an immediate glow.
Sexual intercourse helps the stress hormone but also helps to balance the hormones and improve collagen production. But you can go one step further with a sperm mask. Yes, you heard right!
Using your partner’s sperm as a mask is full of a compound called spermine, which is an antioxidant which can help reduce wrinkles, smooth the skin, prevent acne or spots and give you overall healthy-looking skin.
Even if that is true and you wanted to give it a try, how would you even go about having that conversation? Like, ‘hey babe, would you mind storing up a bit of your semen for me? No, no, I’m not being a creep, I just need to make face masks out of it’?
I mean, come on (literally). If semen face masks aren’t your kind of thing though, don’t worry because Chelsee creates bespoke treatment experiences and skincare plans for each of her clients – including using ice cold water and ultrasound as alternatives for semen. Phew.
According to the facialist, if you fill the sink up with ice cubes and cold water and splash your face 15 to 20 times before applying your makeup, it will leave your skin feeling ‘tighter and brighter’.
Erm, no thank you. I think I’ll have to pass on both of those. Sorry skin!
