They grow up so fast, don’t they? Next thing we know David and Victoria will be grandparents and we’ll be wondering why their grandchildren are named Scunthorpe and Skeggy.
Hopefully, there’s some time yet for that, as young Romeo just celebrated his 16th birthday while on a family holiday in the south of France.
It wasn’t just family though. Very special guest, and Romeo’s godfather, Elton John was also there alongside Romeo’s siblings Brooklyn, 19, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven.
Loving mum Victoria posted snaps of the celebratory evening on her Instagram, sharing the moment the young guy was serenaded by waiters and given a massive cake with even bigger sparklers going off.
Thanking Elton and his partner David Furnish, she wrote:
Early birthday celebrations! X From the best godparents
Victoria loves the ‘gram doesn’t she? It’s fair enough, really, she’s got a brand to uphold and she’s doing a great job of it.
She also recently shared a lovely family picture of her brood hanging out with the Ramsay family.
The photo and banterific hangout with the celebrity chef and his crew was in celebration of Tana Ramsay’s birthday, as well as their kids’ successful GCSE and A Level results.
Unfortunately, Victoria wasn’t the centre of attention in this pic, nor was birthday girl Tana.
So who was it? Well, before you throw your phone across the room, it was Jack, Tana and Gordon’s 18-year-old son.
Eagle-eyed followers (who didn’t really need their eagle eyes as it’s pretty darn obvious) were quick to spot Jack’s uncanny resemblance to his dad. Who’d have thought kids look like their parents? I’ve totally never heard of that before.
‘Good God that young Ramsay the image of his dad [sic]’ one commenter said.
‘Gordon’s lad is the spit of him. Happy families,’ another wrote.
I mean, no-one can argue with that can they? Young Jack possibly looks more like Gordon Ramsay than Gordon Ramsay himself.
On the other hand, Gordon has been looking rather ripped lately. The 51-year-old is raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital by doing the Ironman triathlon, and by the looks of it, training has been going well.
Social media fans of the chef were shocked to see his new physique, with many commenting asking if he’d had surgery.
Fans also made the classic joke of ‘never trust the skinny chef’. I bet he’s never heard that before.
While training for a triathlon is sure to do wonders for your physique, it’s not the only reason Gordon has been dropping the pounds.
Speaking on the Today Show, Ramsay explained how his father was the inspiration for his own transformation.
Ramsay spoke about his dad, who died of a heart attack aged 53. Thanks to some blunt encouragement from his wife, Gordon was determined not to let his children go through the same thing he did.
And the hard work is obviously paying off. Nice one Gordon!
Oh yeah, and happy birthday Romeo.
