Everybody knows someone who claims to be in the Mile High Club, but they’re almost certainly not.
It just takes too much planning and blind luck, so most of the lads who tell you they managed to join the club are just chatting rubbish.
But these guys have video evidence of such a feat, after they joined the club on a packed Virgin Atlantic flight when an air stewardess caught them in the act.
The passengers didn’t even know each other before they boarded the plane at Gatwick on a trip to Mexico.
Apparently though, they struck up a close bond very quickly, and passengers reported seeing the drunken woman chatting up the mystery man, according to The Sun.
The couple reportedly snuck back to the on-board bathroom before a flight attendant opened the door, and saw the woman sitting on the toilet while the man was stood up with his pants down.
Crew promptly began banging on the door to get them to come out, with one stewardess reported as saying:
Would you jeopardise your holiday for a bl*w job?
The incident reportedly occurred at 30,000ft on Tuesday, though the man tried to claim that the woman had fallen ill.
However, the crew were having none of it, and were quick to point out that the pair were not even flying together.
A passenger who was sitting nearby told The Sun:
She turned up on the plane totally sloshed at 12.30pm. She was very friendly and approached me and my pal for a chat.
The woman then struck up a bond with a guy who was travelling on his own and sat across the aisle from her. They were kissing.
They were both in their late 20s, but were total strangers before getting on the plane. Minutes later she disappeared into the toilet, and he followed her in.
It was so obvious. Everyone knew what was happening because she had been so loud and rowdy.
The other passengers on the flight were a bit more jovial about the situation, however, clapping and jeering as the couple were led back to their seats.
Things got even worse for the woman after she reportedly got in a fight with a female friend, and was accused of throwing things around the cabin.
Apparently, the friend hit her said: ‘Don’t you f*cking ever… Do you understand me?’
The pilot radioed ahead for local police to meet the flight upon its arrival in Mexico. The woman was helped off with her bags.
Virgin Atlantic said in a statement:
Flight VS93 from Gatwick to Cancun on March 13 was met by the authorities on arrival due to disruptive behaviour on board.
The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is our top priority, and we won’t tolerate any behaviour that compromises this.
Start the holiday as you mean to go on, I suppose.
