PixabayA teenage boy had an incredible reaction after a girl didn’t realise she’d started her period while on the bus home from school.
The schoolgirl’s parents praised the teenage boy for his kind and subtle reaction after their daughter found herself in a potentially awkward situation.
Posting to Facebook group Gurgaon Moms, the mother explained the kind actions the teenage boy took to help her daughter.
She wrote:
My daughter started her period on the bus ride home today.
A boy a year older than her… that she doesn’t really know… pulled her aside and whispered in her ear that she had a stain on the back of her pants and gave her his sweater to tie around her waist so she could walk home off of the bus.
LibreShotThe schoolgirl was initially a bit embarrassed by the situation and refused the boy’s offer to take his jumper, but the kind teenager persisted.
The mother continued:
She said she was kind of embarrassed and originally said ‘it’s okay’… but the boy insisted and told her ‘I have sisters, it’s all good!
She praised the boy for his incredible kindness and directed the message at his mother, who she wanted to thank.
Her post went on:
If you are this boy’s Mom… I want to say thank you and that you are raising him right!!
We hear so many bad things about today’s youth, and I wanted to share something positive!
The story has since been shared across the internet, with people hoping to spread the news of the lovely way the boy reacted.

Got mine at my grandma’s who hadn’t had one in so long she didn’t know what to do with me. Took me to the store and loudly declared that I had started my first period and needed supplies. Only guys were working that day. One of them was my friend’s older brother.. So embarrassing.
I think everyone needs a kind stranger like the teenage bus passenger in their life!
