Tekashi 6ix9ine’s girlfriend went out of her way to prove her loyalty to the rapper as she got a huge tattoo of his face on her chest.
Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, is currently behind bars after pleading guilty to nine charges, including multiple charges of racketeering, conspiracy, and weapons-related offences, earlier this year.
He admitted to joining the violent New York City group, Nine Trey Blood Gang, in 2017, and also confessed to helping members try to kill a rival gang member in March 2018.
The rapper has not yet been sentenced, but the mandatory minimum sentence for his crimes is 47 years.
Though he’s likely to spend decades in prison, Tekashi’s girlfriend Jade made it clear she’s going to stick by him and carry the thought of him wherever she goes.
She’s not given herself much choice, really, after inking his face on her chest.
The 22-year-old already had the number ’69’ tattooed by her right shoulder, but it seems that wasn’t sufficient in showing her love for her boyfriend.
Jade revealed her new artwork on Instagram, showing the large portrait of Tekashi located just below her left shoulder.
Though I don’t think I really need to describe where it is; it’s impossible to miss:
In the caption, Jade wrote that she ‘just got Chris Brown tatted’, but the telltale ’69’ featured on the tattooed face makes it clear it’s supposed to be Tekashi.
She shared the post on the eve of the rapper’s birthday, which is today (May 8).
I suppose it’s nice that she’s so besotted with her boyfriend, but considering she could be nearly 70 when he gets out of prison, her choice to make such a permanent statement is undoubtedly questionable. And that’s putting it’s nicely.
It doesn’t look like her followers were too impressed with the revelation, either, as many took to the comments section to share their thoughts.
YouTuber ‘Adam22’ wrote:
You should honestly sue the artist
While another person commented:
girllll [sic] you going to be over him in a few years.. why do something crazy like that
Many people believed the tattoo was fake, but its appearance in following Instagram posts suggests it is, unfortunately, here to stay.
In January, Jade shared a snap of her visit to see Tekashi in jail, showing the rapper squeezing her bum as she kissed him on the cheek.
Let’s hope she doesn’t grow to regret her new chest-based face – it would certainly be a big cover-up job.
