Who remembers the hype when Baby Spice curled her hair, or when Kim K dyed her trademark locks blonde – yes shocking I know *detects sarcasm*!
Well now, running with that theme, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has caused a stir on social media after posting a photo of him…wait for it…with a beard.
Given the grand scheme of things, I really don’t think it’s a big deal for a fully grown man to decide to grow a beard, but it looks like fans have reacted to it in a massive way.
Taking to his Instagram to upload a video, The Rock said:
Jus [sic] deliverin’ a package of gratitude.
HBO has officially picked up #Ballers SEASON 4.
He continued:
And a big congrats to Issa Rae and the cast/crew of Insecure! Thank you all out there for rockin’ with us and diggin’ our show.
Luv [sic] and appreciate you and I’m grateful to the bone.
Fans on social media quickly pointed it out, with one fan even saying the beard made it look like the Baywatch star was morphing into Uncle Phil from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air…

Regardless of whether Dwayne is rocking a beard (and yes, pun intended), I couldn’t care less as long as he’s never far from our screens.
I’d take another Wrestlemania appearance too…
