Dwayne Johnson taught an Australian comedian on Twitter a big lesson: don’t try and tell The Rock wrestling isn’t real.
I’m not sure why anyone would try and school old Rocky about wrestling when he has literally had a career as a professional wrestler, and I’m sure Ben Pobjie won’t be doing it again any time soon.
After the 45-year-old Fast and Furious star congratulated his friend Kurt Angle on his return to the WWE ring, Aussie comic Pobjie said: ‘Dwayne, wrestling isn’t real. It’s time you knew’.
Dwayne, wrestling isn't real. It's time you knew. https://t.co/3iqKjHfNAn

The conversation escalated extremely quickly, and Dwayne replied:
I like the dry wit. Correct, I do in fact know wrestling isn’t real. That’s why I said ‘have fun’. I also know, you can go f*ck yourself.
? ?? I like the dry wit

Don’t let Dwayne’s warm smile and wholesome personality trick you into a false sense of security. If you mess with him, he will get you back worse.
Fan’s absolutely loved the Rock’s fiery return and over 36k people have liked the tweet at time of writing.
Many commenters were hailing it the return of the old Rock, saying he hasn’t lost it.

Pobjie, understandably feeling tentative, replied re-iterating he was joking, and said he hoped The Rock understood his ‘zany sense of humour’ instead of getting him killed.
Dwayne responded with kind and supportive words, saying ‘I not only got the zany but appreciated it as well’…no doubt Pobjie breathed a big sigh of relief.
Haha I just hit you back. Yes, I not only got the zany but appreciated it as well. ??

Then Pobjie was sure to do a good bit of brown-nosing for good measure, truly backtracking with his tail between his legs.
Pobjie called DJ a ‘gentleman and an artist’ which he absolutely loved and soaked up the glory, saying ‘there are so few of us left’.
And there are so few of us left ??

Another user joked that Dwayne probably wouldn’t be purchasing Ben Pobjie’s new book Aussie, Aussie, Aussie.
Then, of course, Ben said he would send The Rock a free signed copy of it, probably not expecting a response.
But kind-hearted Dwayne replied saying he should send it to him and gave him the details of his social executive.
Then it started to get a bit weird and Pobjie’s wife got excited and involved, which is when Dwayne understandably tapped out.
She casually dropped in that she was a pastry chef, before fan-girling and offering The Rock a free cake.
Unsurprisingly Pobjie received numerous messages from wrestling fans threatening to beat him up.
The Rock, with a stroke of genius manage to tear Pobjie a new one, get some compliments in return, as well as a free book and cake.
