The world’s most desirable travel destinations have been revealed thanks to an international survey.
Among the most sought-after holiday spots are New York, Tokyo, Las Vegas and Edinburgh.
Researchers conducted a massive poll of 8,400 people spread across 28 different countries to get to the bottom of where it really is people want to go.
The researchers found Edinburgh, the Scottish capital, to be high on the list of most coveted cities.
Also in the top 40 cities were the usual suspects like London, Paris and Dubai.
In these cities, people gave their preference for hotels they would most like to spend the night.
Top of this list was The Ritz in Paris, The Plaza in New York and the Burj Al Arab Jumeriah in Dubai.
Of those surveyed, 87 per cent have a travel bucket list and 22 per cent of those people would be more than willing to fork out £10,000 to tick everything off the list.
Hotels.com commissioned the research to celebrate Instagram star, Baddie Winkle’s #BaddAssBucketList Tour of the world, along with her great granddaughter Kennedy.
This makes the lucky family the envy of 30 per cent of those polled, who said they would most like to share their travel experiences with their parents and grandparents.

Once holidaymakers arrive at their destinations, top activities include visiting the Statue of Liberty, touching the Niagara Falls and going up the Eiffel Tower.
Also at the top of the list was trying local street food, moving abroad for a year to work or study and taking a selfie at the top of a mountain.
Other desirable activities included visiting the Great Pyramid of Giza and going on safari.
Baddie Winkle will take in some of the top travelling experiences and destinations during her tour, including making cocktails on a rooftop in New York, samba dancing in Brazil and seeing performances at the Moulin Rouge in Paris.
