Here’s a riddle for you. Samuel was born at 1:39am and his twin brother Ronan was born 31 minutes later – but Ronan is the eldest of the pair. How?
At the end of the day, it’s all about timing, reports the Mirror.
Scroll down to reveal the reason why.
So you’ve either got the answer in your head or you just couldn’t be bothered working it out. Well essentially it’s pretty simple.
Samuel and Ronan were born on November 6 to Emily and Seth Peterson and despite the birth going just swell, the two baby twins can both put a bid in for being the eldest of the bizarre duo.
How? Well when Samuel was born at 1.39am, America was on the brink of putting the clocks back by one hour due to America’s daylight saving time so despite Ronan being born 31 minutes later, he was technically born at 1.10am making him the oldest bro.
Riddle of the day: Samuel was born first, but his twin brother Ronan is older. How is that possible?

The two youngsters were born at Cape Cod Hospital in West Barnstable in Massachusetts, US., who later uploaded the riddle to their Facebook page.
New dad, Seth, added:
I said earlier that night that they were either going to be born on two different days or the time change was going to come into play.
Apparently the chance of being born just as the hour goes back is extremely rare however sometimes rare things happen just like that and that’s how Ronan was crowned the eldest.
