It’s sometimes hard to believe that these type of views still exist in 2016, but apparently they really, really do.
A Twitter user has posted screenshots of a ‘conversation’ she had with her aunty – and it’s fair to say that things seem to have spiralled out of control pretty quickly.
It’s not clear exactly how the ‘argument’ came about, but Charlie started with this tweet:

It sounds like her aunty may not be the most open-minded of people, but Charlie’s response was absolutely priceless:
But it didn’t end there – it seems like Marie can dish it out but can’t take it in return, so went crying to mummy…
Who in turn started giving dad a hard time…
Even cousin Hollie started giving Charlie shit…
As the family turned on her Charlie started weighing up her options…
And thankfully, the wider Twitter community were a bit more supportive and also managed to see the humour in Charlie’s exchange.
Hopefully they’ll manage to patch things up, but you know what they say – you can’t choose your family…
