Mark Lester claims he’s Paris Jackson’s real dad and it’s just made everything incredibly awkward.
There’s been some speculation as to who is Paris Jackson’s ‘real’ dad for a while, but Mark Lester – an actor, osteopath and acupuncturist – is absolutely adamant he’s the one.
Mark Lester is a fading actor – who no-one really cares about anymore after he played Oliver – unsurprisingly in the 1968 film, Oliver! for those (including myself) who were wondering who the hell he is.
Mark is pretty open about the fact he acted as a sperm donor for Michael – which is news to me – as he claimed he was a good friend of the legendary singer and wanted to ‘help’ him out.
He said:
I was just helping out a friend. I think he had a problem with actually doing the physical act of sex and a very low sperm count as well.
Michael apparently approached Mark and said he wanted children but ‘had problems,’ whereas he said Mark ‘only had to look at his own wife and she’d get pregnant’.
Mark wondered if Michael wanted him to sleep with his wife – Debbie Rowe – as first, but actually he wanted him to donate his sperm to the Harley Street clinic.
He explained to the Daily Mail:
Michael said it would all be completely confidential and I knew he was asking others in his inner circle — actors Macaulay Culkin, Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson, Uri Geller, people from Harvard with doctorates, all sorts.
The whole thing was kept secret until after Michael’s untimely death in 2009, when tongues started wagging over who Paris’ dad really was.
I suppose she does look pretty like his blonde-haired daughters too…
He added:
My kids weren’t that enamoured. They thought it a bit seedy — that’s a pun! But they’re fine now.
It seems even Paris herself struggled with the news Michael may not be her dad, resulting in her several attempts to kill herself.
Mark said:
I did try and get through to her then and her mother told me to eff off. But I wish her well. She’s bright and a great-looking kid, so if she is my daughter, it’s nothing to be ashamed of.
She’s got 50 tattoos or something now, which is a bit excessive. I don’t think Michael would have been too pleased about that.
I don’t think Michael worried about colour. He just wanted the best of the best. He wanted to breed super-humans.
Paris never went for DNA test and has no interest in doing so and seems Mark doesn’t want to pursue the whole thing further either.
He said:
I can’t be bothered. I’ve got four kids of my own and I’m about to take on another two [children of his new wife] — that’s my family.
The whole situation is pretty confusing, and ultimately it’s upto Paris to decide if she wants to procee.
She does look very like Mark’s daughters though, but I guess we’ll never really know the truth…
