There’s probably nothing more cringingly awkward for a student then having to walk into a class late.
All eyes are on you as you apprehensively stroll into the lesson, knowing deep down that extra 15 minutes kip probably wasn’t worth this.
And then there’s the matter of having to finding a place to sit, when all the seats near your mates have been taken by other randomers.
So you either to grin and bare it and sit with people you don’t know or stand up.
There’s maybe even a third option of having the audacity to ask someone to move, though we’d recommend not trying this option once you’ve heard this tale of epic proportion courtesy of @yalljust_myfans.
When one guy walked into his class, it just so happened that @yalljust_myfans was sitting with his mates.
He didn’t care though, he’d already bagged himself a seat, and that was all that matters- but the late students’ mates weren’t impressed that he refused to give up his space whatsoever.
So he decided to document their fury in a rather long, but incredibly gripping Twitter thread. Trust me, it’s worth the read.
It all started when he was chilling in his seat, waiting for class to start.
And then it began:
They plucked up the courage and approached him:
And straight up asked him to move:
It’s safe to say it didn’t go down well:
Finding the situation increasingly hilarious, he made up names for each angry student:
And shit really started going down:
That’s when it dawns on the students that they’ve been given fake names:
In one last ditch attempt they ask the professor:
But he was having absolutely none of it:
Finally, they give up. But get super petty about the next class they have with him.
To be extra annoying, he turned up to his next class two hours early.
The teacher was so impressed with his punctuality that he was allowed to go into the classroom early and claim his seat.
The next day rolls around and the story takes a shock turn as three of the ‘Brady Bunch’ have seemingly dropped the class over the incident.
However, it was a rather bittersweet feeling for this student.
But at least he kept his seat though, right?
