The internet is awash with people who’ve been to the future recently – they must come back because they know their stories will get shared across social media?
Yet to be fair, most of the videos which have surfaced online look like they were filmed on a potato and are pretty suspect.
However this gent, on KIIS FM‘s Kyle and Jackie O show, seems much more legit for no other reason than he seems like a normal dude.
Alexander Smith, a self-proclaimed time traveller, spoke to the radio duo through a video call and claimed he was a rogue CIA agent who was originally born in the year 1981 before he travelled to the year 2118.
He even showed one of the now required photographs of a futuristic city, before claiming the world will change drastically in years to come, saying:
The streets were completely void of any cars. There were no cars in the streets, the streets were one big sidewalk on which many people were walking.
I looked above and the cars were actually flying overhead. It looked almost crazy. There were so many in the air.

Alexander said he’s no longer a CIA agent and is currently on the run.
He describes waking up in a hospital bed and being questioned about his ‘odd clothing’ before proceeding to show Kyle and Jackie O a picture which he says he took on his time travels. It shows tall buildings with a blue glow emanating from them.
Kyle is pretty amazed at the picture, though it does look blurry in the video.
Alexander claims in order to get back to present day, (though this is technically the future for him), he had to go to a time travel shop and pay a fee to get back.
He should probably get his money back to be honest.
Not so long ago, Alexander appeared on Apex TV with the claims which have garnered him intense media attention.
During the interview, Smith brings out a standard photograph – which appears to be of a city – he claims was taken in the year 2118.
Introducing himself, Smith says:
I visited the year 2118 as part of a top secret CIA mission. As to my knowledge, it was one of the first times time travel had successfully been completed.
I went to the future and then back to the past. This all happened in the year 1981.
They are looking for me but I am living in hiding.
Pulling out the photograph – which is incredibly blurry – Smith offers this as evidence for his story before continuing:
This picture was taken in the year 2118. This picture was the city I walked in. I’ll never forget when I took that picture.
It was right outside the city, before I had walked into it. I chose to wait until now to reveal that picture to you because I didn’t know if the world was ready to see it.
That was a picture from the future which I was able to take back. There was only a minor amount of distortion on it that was caused by the time travelling process.
The government confiscated the original photo, but before they took it from me, I did manage to make the copy I hold before you.
I’m still not convinced, but it’s fun to think there’s a government conspiracy around time travel, it all feels very Stranger Things.
