Hmmm, so apparently injecting blood into your breasts is now a thing.

The ‘vampire breast lift’ procedure involves injecting a patient’s breasts with their own blood.

Dr Charles Runels, the vampire breast pioneer, started using the technique to help lift sagging boobs, remove stretch marks, increase cleavage size, and increase sensation in the nipples.

And here’s the science: a machine is used that separates the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the rest of the blood. The PRP is then injected into the breasts, stimulating the production of collagen, new blood vessels and fatty tissue. This works to repair skin, leaving the breasts looking plumper, more uplifted and younger.

The treatment will cost you $1,800 (£1,175), with the whole procedure taking around 15 minutes. And it only hurts as much as having blood drawn.

Apparently its effects continue to improve for two to three months after, usually lasting for at least one to two years.

So there you go, injecting your breasts with blood. What a time to be alive.
