A man who went viral after his unusually large neck was spotted in a mugshot, has been arrested, again.

The latest arrest happened just one week after a photo of his neck made him a viral sensation.

As reported by TMZ, Charles Dion McDowell was arrested once again on November 21, in Lee County, Alabama for allegedly eluding law enforcement, reckless driving, driving with a revoked license, improper lane usage and a second degree possession of marijuana charge.

McDowell was arrested in Florida for several drug offences earlier this month, including possession of both meth and cocaine with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver.

According to police, McDowell allegedly attempted to flee from them after they found out about his less-than-legal activities.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office posted his mugshot on the department’s Facebook page:

Alongside the picture, they wrote the following sarcastic message:

Congratulations to Charles Dion McDowell, DOB: 8/12/87 *share [sic]

Charles Dion McDowell was arrested for Fleeing/Eluding Police with Lights & Sirens Active, Possession of Meth with Intent to Sell/Manufacture/Deliver, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell/Manufacture/Deliver Schedule II, Possession of Controlled Substance without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Equipment. McDowell is currently a guest at the GoldStar Hotel with a bond of $57,000. #Gotcha [sic]

However, people weren’t interested in his charges and were instead distracted by the size of his neck, which quickly became the subject of hundreds of memes.

One person described him as the ‘Loch Neck Monster,’ while another photoshopped him into a ‘Neckleback’ band picture:

McDowell’s neck also gave pun-makers a field day.

One person quipped:

What neck of the woods was he caught in?

While another joked:

Why y’all do this, He was gone turn himself in necks week. [sic]

And another sniggered:

I’m glad they caught him. Anyone of us could’ve been Necks. [sic]
