A young woman has complained to the police that she was raped by a Pokemon in her flat.
The married woman from Moscow, who’s not been identified, told officers that she was assaulted by a giant Pokemon after falling asleep while playing Pokemon GO.
She claims she woke to find a virtual creature lay on top of her, raping her and it disappeared when she jumped out of bed, The Daily Mail reports.
Despite the creature vanishing, the woman claims that her Pokemon GO app could still detect the creature in her apartment bedroom.
When she woke her husband to explain what had happened he refused to believe her and asked her to go and see a psychiatrist.
According to the Russian news website Bloknot the police didn’t believe her either and that the woman visited a psychic who couldn’t help her.
Ivan Makarov, the woman’s friend, said:
She says there are too many Pokemon at her place and even the dog can sense them. She says the dog barks whenever she plays Pokemon GO.
Mr Makarov went on to add that she’s accepted her husband’s advice and booked an appointment with a psychiatrist.
Pokemon GO launched in July 2016 and has been a smash hit across the globe.
