A 29-year-old woman has taken revenge on a man she was dating, after he scammed her out of money to go on holiday with his girlfriend.
Angel Exford, a dental hygienist from Lambeth, London, had been dating Michael Fehsenfeld, 26, for a few months and thought things were going really well.
However, things took a sour turn when she noticed funds going missing from her account and realised he was stealing her money – to pay for his other girlfriend.
Upon checking her bank statement, Angel noticed payments of more than £1,000 had been taken for flowers, hotels and ultimately a trip to Paris – all of which were not bought by her.
She soon realised what had happened. The couple had previously been on a night out when Michael told her he had lost her wallet and – thinking he could be trusted – Angel handed her card to him.
Because, why not? If you believed yourself to be in a trusting relationship, the likelihood is you’d trust them with your money.
Unfortunately though, this seemed to be part of Michael’s plan to get money from her as in the short space of time in which he had her card, he stole all of her details.
The week after this happened, Angel claimed Michael didn’t mention the money he had borrowed from her and showed no signs of paying it back – instead choosing to go on nights out and uploading videos to his Snapchat.
The dental hygienist broke up with him shortly after, thinking he was taking advantage and using her for her money. But little did she know, this was only the start.
As soon as Angel realised what he had really done, she cancelled her card immediately. But understandably, she wanted revenge.
Taking to Twitter to describe what had happened, the 29-year-old said he had ‘disrespected me to a whole new level’ and that she needed to get the word out there to warn others about him.
**Part 1**
Aight, Boom, so this is a thread about how @michael_modern stole my bank details and spent over £1200 of MY money to impress HIS girlfriend, including receipts.

Not only had he used her card to buy things for himself such as a Sky subscription, the 26-year-old then started buying his actual girlfriend presents with Angel’s money.
She saw a £31 payment for a florists and later noticed that his girlfriend had received a bouquet of flowers from the same place, which she then posted to Instagram.
Adding all of the clues up, Angel realised she could not let this go on any longer and that it was time to take action. Because she was aware of his future trip to Paris, Angel formed a plan to confront him at Gatwick Airport with her friends and of course, the police.
Michael Fehsenfeld, or #FraudBae as Angel and her friends dubbed him, was arrested on October 5 as he attempted to board the plane with his girlfriend.
The fraudster pleaded guilty at Camberwell Green Magistrates Court on October 22 and was sentenced to 26 weeks, suspended for two years, as well as 150 hours of supervised community service. Angel received £500 in compensation for everything that had happened.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, she said:
When I got my money back I felt better. I was more worried about his girlfriend and how she felt.
Hopefully Angel can move on with her life now that she has received justice.
