A woman who is in a relationship with a ghost has claimed he’s proposed to her and explained she wants to have his babies.
Amethyst Realm, who works as a spiritual guidance counsellor, says she fell in love with her ghoulish partner after she ‘met’ him while she was on a working trip in Australia.
The Australian spirit wasn’t Amethyst’s first lover from the ‘other side’, but this one was something special.
Explaining how they met, the psychic said:
I’d not had a phantom fling for a while and as I was away on business, starting a new relationship was the last thing on my mind.
Then one day, while I was walking through the bush, enjoying nature, I suddenly felt this incredible energy. A new lover had arrived.
Ghost relationships come a lot easier than living ones, it seems.
Amethyst was worried about leaving Australia and her new boo – sorry, beau – behind, but luckily the devoted ghost followed her on to the plane.
Without waiting to get to know each other a bit better, the 30-year-old and her new fella even joined the mile high club as they consummated their relationship on the plane.
Amethyst’s story may have proved that if ghosts exist, they can’t fly around freely like in the movies. They still have to rely on aeroplanes, which is unfortunate for anyone who’s planning on doing some long-distance haunting.
But then again, you might meet your undead soulmate while you’re at it, so there are some benefits, it seems.
Though I can’t imagine he’s very cosy to curl up with on a winter’s night, Amethyst insists the Australian is the ghost for her, saying:
I’m so happy to have found him. I know in my heart that he’s the one for me. The fact that he’s a spirit is by the by.
According to The Sun, the couple are so committed, in fact, that the ghost even plucked up the courage to pop the question after his alive girlfriend suggested a weekend away.
She explained:
I’d suggested a weekend away and we decided on Weston-super-Mare.
As soon as we got to the hotel my lover told me he wanted to go to Wookey Hole. It’s nearly an hour from Weston, but he was insistent.
Halfway through the tour, he told me he wanted to hang back from the group.
That’s when it happened. There was no going down on one knee — he doesn’t have knees! But for the first time, I heard him speak.
He doesn’t have knees? How does he stand? I’m so curious to see what the ghost looks like.
Where previously Amethyst had only heard her lover speak in her head, when he proposed he supposedly managed to project the words out into the real world, making the phrase ‘will you marry me?’ echo around the cave they were inside.
She continued:
It’s hard to explain but, until that point, his words were inside my head. But, on that day, the words were outside.
I could actually hear his voice and it was beautiful. Deep, sexy and real.
Amethyst agreed, and the pair are now in the process of choosing a ring and planning their summer wedding. I would have thought Halloween would have been a more fitting time, but oh well.
Amethyst is keen to carry her partner’s babies, explaining she’s looked into the idea and that it doesn’t seem ‘totally out of the question’. She explained on This Morning she doesn’t know whether the baby would be spiritual or physical, but she hoped it would be a physical child.
It’s hard to say how that pregnancy would come about, so we might just have to wait and see what happens!
