On August 21 the Moon will cover the Sun, causing a sudden drop in temperature and plunging the Earth into darkness.

More than half of our planet will witness the once-in-a-lifetime event, that’s been dubbed the ‘Great American Total Solar Eclipse’ as it will cover nearly a quarter of all U.S. states.

A number of Christian fanatics have claimed the eclipse will indicate the end of the world and may even be one of the ten prophesied Biblical plagues.

The Nibiru Cataclysm movement’s leading voice has suggested it’s proof a mythical unknown planet will devastate life on Earth with an apocalyptic strike or near miss.

Earlier this year, amateur stargazer and Christian numerologist David Meade predicted ‘Nibiru’, also referred to as Planet X, will appear in the skies on September 23.

In Meade’s book, Planet X – the 2017 Arrival, his analysis is based on bible verses as well as the position of stars and planets.

More evidence of the supposed impending Armageddon has been uncovered with Meade telling the Daily Star:

The Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017, is a major – huge – harbinger.

When the eclipse begins on August 21, the sunrise will be dark, just as Isaiah predicts.

The Moon involved is called a black moon and these occur about every 33 months. In the Bible, the divine name of Elohim appears 33 times in Genesis.

He continues:

The eclipse will start in Lincoln Beach, Oregon – the 33rd state – and end on the 33rd degree of Charleston, South Carolina.

Such a solar eclipse has not occurred since 1918, which is 99 years – or 33 times three.

Meade also spotted another peculiar connection. 33 days after the eclipse, the stars will align exactly as the book of Revelation says they will before the end of the world, and that date – 23 September.

The Nibiru Cataclysm myth dates back to 1976, when writer Zecharia Sitchin claimed two ancient Middle Eastern cultures – the Babylonians and Sumerians – told of a giant planet, Nibiru, that orbited the Sun every 3,600 years.

Self-proclaimed extra-terrestrial psychic Nancy Lieder then warned Nibiru would crash into Earth and had her wild conspiracy theory ridiculed by the mainstream science community.

However, respected astronomers from the California Institute of Technology then announced they had found evidence of a real planet – up to ten times the mass of Earth lurking in the outer reaches of the Solar System.

Hmmmmm, I might request that day off work! Don’t want to spend my last moments on Earth stuck at my desk!
