The latest in the Eminem/Machine Gun Kelly saga now involves 50 Cent, who’s stepped in to have his say on the back-and-forth battle.

MGK and Slim began their beef way back in 2012, when Kelly tweeted to say Slim’s daughter, Hailie, was ‘hot as f*ck.’

Six years later, with Eminem’s surprise release of his latest album Kamikaze, the rapper got back at Kelly in his song Not Alike.

The song says:

And I’m talking to you but you already know who the f*ck you are, Kelly

I don’t use sublims and sure as f*ck don’t sneak-diss

But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie.

Wasting no time in responding to the Rap God singer, Kelly released a song in response, cunningly entitled Rap Devil.

The lyrics read:

His f*cking beard is weird
Tough talk from a rapper paying millions for security a year
‘I think my dad’s gone crazy’, yeah, Hailie, you right
Dad’s always mad cooped up in the studio, yelling at the mic

The song continued on to diss Eminem further, and the feud began to increase in intensity.

In an interview with Sway on YouTube, Eminem said he wants to ‘destroy’ MGK but doesn’t want to give the 28-year-old any more publicity. He added how he thought the beef  was ‘f*cking weird’.

Despite this, Eminem went on to release another diss track aimed at Kelly, named Killshot, which slammed MGK by pointing out he was still outselling him:

Your reply got the crowd yelling, “Woo!”
So before you die let’s see who can out-petty who
With your corny lines (“Slim, you’re old”)—ow, Kelly, ooh
But I’m 45 and I’m still outselling you
By 29, I had three albums that had blew.

MGK responded to the track with a tweet, scoring the song a six out of 10 and implying it was two weeks too late.

He wrote:

2 weeks and 3 interviews later… #legshot #letstalkaboutit [sic]

As if the drama between the two rappers wasn’t enough to keep us occupied, 50 Cent has now stepped in to have his say.

The rapper shared a tweet over the weekend which showed him siding with Eminem and comparing the rapper to The Dark Knight’s Joker.

The tweet read:

oh sh*t, Boy you f**king wit the wrong one. LOL easy work @Eminem get the strap #lecheminduroi [sic]

50’s response was met with both support and disapproval on social media.

One person actually went to the extent of creating a fundraising page in honour of Kelly’s ‘lyrical assault’:

On September 14, 2018 Machine Gun Kelly was the victim of a lyrical assault. While the suspect, Marshall Mathers, is still at large fans all over the world are mourning the loss of the “late” rapper, MGK.

I think people are having a little too much fun with this beef. I’m sure there’ll be more developments in the saga before long!
