Although she’s now in the midst of making her comeback, three years out of the limelight haven’t affected Adele’s bank balance.

In fact, newly-released figures from Companies House show that her company Melted Stone managed to earn an eye-watering £17million last year alone – that’s £46,566 per day, which is £20,000 more than the UK’s average yearly salary for 2015.

The majority of the money has come from royalties from the sales of her previous two albums, 2008’s 19, and 2011’s 21. After taxes and other costs Melted Stone’s assets were valued at £25,383,784, which means Adele – who had a very humble childhood – took home around £7 million. Not too bad at all.

Earlier this year she topped the list of Britain’s richest young musicians (under 30) despite not releasing any new music since 2011and she is believed to be worth an estimated £50m, double that of her closest rivals, One Direction.

Her earnings will skyrocket even further following the release of her latest album, 25. The record has broken the single-week US album sales record and total sales have already surpassed 2.43 million copies smashing the previous record set 15 years ago by N*Sync with their seminal album No Strings Attached.

The first single from 25, Hello, has sold more than 2.5 million digital copies and has been on top of Billboard’s Digital Songs chart for four consecutive weeks and the singer is reportedly in advanced talks to headline Glastonbury festival.

You could say things are going quite well for her, fair to say she’s Rolling in it.
