As you may remember, Selena Gomez destroyed her ex Justin Bieber for his latest celebrity meltdown yesterday. And as it turns out, Biebs can’t take the heat – and now he’s in hiding.
It all started when he started posting pictures of his new girlfriend, Sofia Richie – and his beliebers weren’t happy. So amid all the ‘hateful’ comments he was receiving, he made the empty threat to fans that if they kept it up he’d make his Instagram private. Douche move.
This was something Selena Gomez – who, like many other celebrities, makes it clear she loves and respects her fans – wasn’t mega impressed with.
She hit back by saying:
If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you. They were there for you before anyone.
And it looks like Justin wasn’t too impressed with the hate – he deleted his Instagram altogether.
The move came moments after Biebs had switched his account to private, before changing his mind and making his page public again – and then deleting it entirely.
And after setting the account private, he was slammed by fans in the comments, the Daily Mail reports. One user wrote: “In the moment you went private you lost many fans,” while another added: “and now we are leaving u.”
Karma’s a bitch.
I mean, considering Instagram has a new feature allowing celebs to disable comments, he could have just done that if he didn’t want to deal with trolls.
I doubt deleting one of your main ways to connect with fans is a great way to gain (or even keep) Beliebers. Are we finally witnessing the fall of Justin Bieber?
