It’s fair to say Jay-Z and Beyoncé are two of the coolest people on the Planet (sorry KimYe fans), but even they are prone to the odd embarrassing mum and dad moments.
Look, no child wants to see their mum and dad gyrate in front of them, let alone in front of a packed stadium full of fans screaming their heads off.
Unfortunately for the Carter’s oldest child, Blue Ivy, she had to be subjected to her parent’s sexy-time dance and she was not amused.
Footage of the moment Blue’s face scrunched up in disgust was captured during Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s London portion of their worldwide On The Run Tour II.
A concert-goer zoomed in at the right time as she reacted with dismay, disgust, and horror during a sensual video interlude at the London Stadium.
The video was recorded by Sara Emerson, who attended the sold-out concert in East London, where she was quick enough to capture a series of emotions from Blue, which range from; confusion, disapproval, disgust and finally pure embarrassment.
It’s okay Blue, we’ve all been through that experience and if you ever decide to get married in the future, pray they don’t embarrass you with their Drunk In Love dance routine.
While it’s unclear what clip Blue was watching, some fans suggested Jay-Z and Beyoncé were nude or in bed during the footage, according to Harper’s Bazaar.
Even though she may have been scarred for life, other recordings from the night show the eldest Carter child having the time of her life, as she danced and laughed along with a friend.
Before setting off on their worldwide tour the music power couple – who have a collective net worth of $1.16 billion, according to CNN – released a joint album titled Love is Everything.
During an interview with The New York Times last year in November, Hov revealed he and Beyoncé were working on a joint album.
He described the creative process as akin to ‘a therapy session’ in the wake of news regarding his infidelity, explaining:
It happened — we were using our art almost like a therapy session. And we started making music together.
And then the music she was making at that time was further along. So her album came out as opposed to the joint album that we were working on.
Um, we still have a lot of that music. And this is what it became. There was never a point where it was like, “I’m making this album.” I was right there the entire time.
Reviews for Everything Is Love has been very favourable, Pitchfork’s Briana Younger scored the album an 8.2/10.
