Back in 2000, Craig David was a pretty big deal. Then Leigh Francis, a rubber face and pet bird ‘Kes’ showed up on the scene and it all went downhill pretty quickly.
But last night the garage star pressed Rewind and made a pretty badass comeback on the X-Factor making the crowd say ‘Bo Selecta’ all over again.
He popped up on the show to perform a duet with finalists Reggie N Bollie, with the trio cracking out a rendition of the famous Artful Dodger/Craig David track ‘Re-Rewind’.
And the performance seemed to do the trick for the boys, as Mr David helped them through to the show’s final tonight to face against Louisa Johnson after Che Chesterman was given the boot.
Craig David may be a pretty big deal in the DJ world nowadays, but it looks like he had a whale of time returning to his singing roots.
And everyone else seemed to love it too…
Apparently new music is coming from the big man in 2016 and, by the looks of it, people are definitely ready for a bit of Craig David in their lives again.
