This track is definitely not on Ed Sheeran’s new album, but it should be.
Appearing on Capital FM’s Evening Show with Roman Kemp yesterday, a fan asked Sheeran to cover Will Smith’s iconic 90s theme song.
That’s right, after getting nostalgic on his new single Castle on the Hill, Sheeran’s back to reminisce about chillin’ out max and relaxin’ all cool in west Philadelphia.
After the fan informed Sheeran that her two loves were him and ‘the TV sitcom French Prince Of Bel-Air,‘ and said it would make her life if he could bring the two together, Sheeran got out his guitar and proceeded to flip, turn the theme song upside down.
Let’s just say his cover is something you never knew you needed:
Coincidentally, the Thinking Out Loud hitmaker even has a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air tattoo on his arm.
He told MTV back in 2013:
I played in Philadelphia and I was on tour with my friends, the Rizzle Kicks, who were my opening act.
And I got ‘Prince’, Jordan got ‘Fresh’ on his leg, and Harley got on his arm ‘on the playground where I spent most of my days’.
Looks like Harley got the short end of the stick…
