YoutubeLiving legend Elton John has become the latest superstar to join James Corden for the Late Late Show’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ experience.
The pair started with Your Song, with Elton admitting he thought the song was a ‘huge step forward’ in his career when he wrote it in 1970.
The star also revealed the reason behind his outlandish stage outfits.
He told Corden that, because he was stuck behind his piano and was never a frontman ‘sex symbol’ like Mick Jagger or David Bowie, he used his extravagant costumes to stand out from the crowd.
YouTubeAfter an awesome rendition of Crocodile Rock, the singer admitted to Corden that he doesn’t own a mobile phone.
This led Corden to suggest that he could kidnap the singer and he would have no way to reach the outside world. But, apparently, Elton might be okay with that.
It seems the two really hit it off as, a few moments later, following a rendition of Tiny Dancer he referred to Corden as his ‘future husband’.
