Eminem has released his share of diss tracks in his time and is certainly not one to shy away from getting truly, personally venomous with his foes.
In 2009’s The Warning we famously saw him take aim at Mariah Carey during an ongoing feud over an alleged relationship which Mariah has fervently denied.
He once even went as far as to lay into fellow rapper, Everlast, for his heart problems in I Remember/Quitter, viciously rapping:
I remember back when you had the Knack, And I remember when you had your first heart attack
I was right there laughin when I heard the news, I just wish the cardiac woulda murdered you.
And of course, you can’t dish out the poison without getting a little back. And a new diss track from Machine Gun Kelly shows there’s a new brutal pen in town.
28-year-old Kelly once idolised the iconic rapper, crediting him with being the original inspiration behind his own hip-hop writings.
However, the student has now turned against the master with a scorching diss track, entitled Rap Devil. No messing around here.
On the track, Kelly pokes fun at Eminem’s ‘weird beard’ and blasts his last four albums as being ‘as bad as your selfie.’ Ouch.
The feud between Kelly and Slim Shady began way back in 2012 when Kelly tweeted about his daughter, Hailie being ‘hot as f*ck.’ Kelly also claimed Eminem banned him from appearing on his Shade 45 channel.
On his new track Not Alike, Eminem fumed at Kelly over the comments he made about his daughter:
And I’m talking to you but you already know who the fuck you are, Kelly/ I don’t use sublims and sure as f*ck don’t sneak-diss/ But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie.
Kelly has now hit back, describing his former idol as ‘sober and bored’ as he claims to speak up for his ‘generation’:
I’m standing up for not just myself, but my generation, I’m doing the same shit you did back in ur day.
Life is still real on my side, and i had to take time from the grind to defend myself from someone i called an idol. love, Rap Devil.
Thank you Machine Gun Kelly for sacrificing your career so we can hear another Eminem diss track
Regards

I think its safe to say Machine Gun Kelly has the best diss ever to Eminem. Its a very short list though.

Machine Gun Kelly really went an made an Eminem diss. I don't think Em's gonna care enough to respond, but if he does, RIP to MGK's career bro. ???

Many fans have given kudos to Kelly for having the guts to stand up to one of the moat notoriously savage rappers in the business, but have also expressed concerns for him over Em’s inevitably diabolical response.
One person tweeted:
Fair play to Machine Gun Kelly for having the balls to release an Eminem diss track, but as brilliant as the song is, it could be the biggest mistake he’s ever made…
While another fretted:
Why did Machine Gun Kelly come out with a diss track? Why does he mention Hailie’s name??? Oh noooo Eminem please go easy. [sic]
Machine Gun Kelly got stuck in that 8 mile trap; most everything he said about Eminem we already heard it from Em himself. How do you diss a man whos been dissing himself for years?
He should have waited and dug deeper. This was a weak response.

No, Machine Gun Kelly is not dead but he's about to be after making that Eminem diss track. Mentioning Hailie was a mistake. You'll be missed once Em unloads that fire young blood. pic.twitter.com/HWkvSwprzK

With Eminem’s history of ripping apart his enemies (not literally), it’s unlikely he’ll be gentle with the younger rapper as he dishes out his revenge…
