After months (although it seems like years) of waiting for Drake’s More Life to drop, the end date is finally near.

With that in mind, it seems it’s only right we honour the details he’s teased us with tantalisingly over the past few months.

Back in October 2016, Drake announced he was going to treat us all to a bit of a different sound selection, which the rapper himself described as ‘more like a playlist.’

In addition to his revelation about his mysterious project, Drake hinted at a December release-date, but six months later, we’re still here waiting patiently…

Genius, Noah “40” Shebib revealed why Kanye West was credited on Drake’s Two Birds, One Stone track.

He said:

Me and Kanye produced the track.

I made it from some drums he [West] had given me. Not quite the elaborate story the world is looking for.

Nineteen85 revealed a little bit more information about Drake’s mystery playlist.

The producer and dvsn member said:

That’s why he’s trying to call it a playlist because he has a bunch of people in a space, hanging out.

He’s so aware of what everybody else is doing musically that he likes to introduce new music and new artists to the rest of the world.

Drake teased out even more tit-bits about More Life to DJ Semtex on OVO Sound Radio.

He said:

The style in which it is being put together is based on the concept of OVO Sound Radio. It’s almost like a radio show.

I basically asked myself, What if I did it like OVO Sound Radio but every song was a new Drake song? It’s more like an evolution of a mixtape. After VIEWS, I was inspired and I wanted to keep the music going and get people inspired.

Atlanta based rapper, SahBabii flew over to meet Drake in England to record a remix of Pull Up Wit Ah Stick.

March 3rd 2017

Drake posted an ominous message to twitter during his Swedish tour dates, which reads: “If you’re reading/translating this, it’s too late.”

To add to the mounting hype, he then added ‘More Life, March 4, 2017,’ before deleting his cryptic message.

Fans went into overdrive, speculating the imminent release of More Life, but Noah “40” Shebib put a stop to these after claiming it was still being finished.
