The legendary rock six-piece, and newfound London pub-owners, piled into a White Limo to drive down the Long Road To Ruin with James Corden to sing some of their greatest hits, and the results are a former grunge fan’s wet dream.

To celebrate the release of their ninth studio album – yes, ninth, we are all so old – Concrete and Gold, the Foo Fighters jumped in the car with Corden.

Squished in like sardines, they sang Best Of You, Learn To Fly and new track, The Sky Is A Neighborhood, interjected by Corden’s remarkably decent but irrevocably unwanted vocals.

For the Carpool Karaoke curtain call, James ‘The Pretender’ Corden and this band of merry men drive to a guitar centre where they deliver an outstanding rendition of Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up.
