Foo Fighters are about to become the latest rock gods to get the Carpool Karaoke radio thumping.
Yep. Very, very soon, Dave Grohl will be riding the sonic highways with James Corden, right alongside bandmates Taylor Hawkins, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee, Chris Shiflett and Nate Mendel.
The hotly anticipated TV event was confirmed through a recent tweet from The Late Late Show which showed a gif of the band rocking out with James, alongside the following exciting announcement:
Surprise! @foofighters #CarpoolKaraoke coming your way this week!
It’s fair to say Foo Fighters fans, who have clearly been waiting Everlong for this moment, have taken the news extremely well.
As one delighted Twitter user remarked, ‘It’s gonna be THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST…’.
Another boldly declared, ‘This will hands down be the best carpool karaoke Ever and will never be topped’.
No pressure then, Dave…
With the band’s ninth album, Concrete and Gold released and their first pub opened last week, these truly are golden days for those wanting to get their fill of the Foo’s.
