International pop star Justin Bieber and American model and television personality Hailey Baldwin have got engaged, according to reports.
According to two eyewitnesses at a hotel resort in the Bahamas, they saw the Where Are Ü Now singer proposed to Baldwin, who he’s been dating on-and-off since 2014.
It’s believed everyone at the resort’s restaurant was dancing to some salsa music when his security asked everyone to put their phones away as something special was about to happen.
It was at that moment ‘the Beibz’ proposed to Baldwin in front of everyone. You can all ‘ahhh’ in unison if you want. As for you Beliebers out there, I imagine this must have been the day you were dreading.
According to an unnamed TMZ source who was aware of what Justin had planned, he and Hailey got engaged yesterday evening (July 8).
The two got back together a month ago and have been inseparable since. Their relationship has been off-and-on and it appears they got back together following his break up with fellow pop star, Selena Gomez.
Justin’s father, Jeremy, was one of the first to congratulate his son, posting a picture on Instagram along with the caption:
Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!
Naturally the hype train was all about Bieber and Gomez ending up together after their teenage love rekindled as they both got a bit older.
But alas, it looks like Biebs is set to marry Hailey Baldwin, the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin.
From all the reports, it seems like Gomez and Bieber remained very close despite the second split and we’re sure Selena will congratulate her friend as and when it becomes public knowledge.
Judging by Bieber’s father’s Instagram post, you can imagine it’ll be sooner rather than later.
